what to expect

a documentary style approach

My goal is to create images that feel like you. The way I shoot purposefully allows a more laid back approach for you and the one you love to truly be present with each other. I never want to push you into poses that make you more focussed on the camera rather than on connecting with each other.

However, the only thing more uncomfortable than awkward forced poses is getting no direction. I of course will help you when it comes to being in front of the camera, but you should never feel like you are confined to my suggestions. Do whatever is most natural for you as a couple- kiss when you feel like it, talk with each other, be silly if that's you. I hope to make you feel like humans, not statues!

01. fill out the contact form

First I want to get to know a little bit about you! Once you fill out the contact form I will send over a follow up questionnaire relevant to the session you are interested in!

02. schedule a call

From there I'll schedule a call, preferably on FaceTime or Zoom where I can get to know you more, we can officially meet, and plan out the session! I'll hear your ideas, give you a few options, and we'll be on our way to creating something beautiful together!

03. make it official

After our call I will send over an invoice and contract. Once the retainer is paid and the contract is signed, you will officially be on my calendar! From there I'll send you locations, make a playlist to vibe to at the shoot, and finally meet you when the date comes along!

"Liv was a dream to work with. She approached our family photoshoot with the perfect amount of artistic direction, all the while capturing authentic moments that we will treasure forever. Plus she is incredible with kids! Our two-year old, who is very skeptical of new people, immediately took to her. Liv had our son smiling and playing in no time, which resulted in the sweetest photos that captured his personality perfectly. Liv is such a talent and we can't wait to have her capture our growing family again." -K.C.
